DESCRIPTION OF THE PROBLEM
The dam in the W-1 ramp required a replacement of the sealing. It was decided to apply a rubber gasket placed in a channel made of galvanized steel. The gasket required an application of the technology of gluing ensuring its tightness and surety of the connection when opening the dam.

DESCRIPTION OF THE REPAIR
Metal channels were cleaned and defattened with Chester Cleaner. A layer of Chester Elastomer 75F was placed at the bottom of the channel, along ca. 2m. Having fastened the gasket in this section, the operation was repeated until the fastening of the gasket along the whole length.

ACHIEVED EFFECTS
The application of Chester Elastomer 75F ensured the efficiency and tightness of the rubber-metal connection. The dam has been functioning correctly after the assembly.
