DESCRIPTION OF THE PROBLEM
A crack of the length of ca. 1.5m (photo No. 2) occurred in the pipeline of ø 900 mm (photo No. 1) transporting raw sewage from the sand trap. Sealing the pipe with materials of Chester Molecular was the only possibility of a repair.

DESCRIPTION OF THE REPAIR
The cracked place was dried. Then it was ground with an angle grinder to remove the rust and to deepen the cracked area. Openings were drilled every 20cm on the cracked line and they were threaded for M6 screws. The surface prepared in such a way was defattened with Chester Fast Cleaner and left until dry. After ca. 20 min., the M6 screws covered with the anaerobic and joint adhesive Chester Molecular D-12 were driven in the previously threaded openings. Then everything was covered with Chester Metal Ceramic T (photos No. 3 and 4).

ACHIEVED EFFECTS
The realized regeneration prevented the replacement of the whole pipe and lowered the cost of the renovation several times.
